Eileen Cogan and The Instructions release a new LP, Under Moving Skies, on Dimple Disc. The album features guest appearances from Sean O’Hagan (Microdisney, The High Llamas), Cathal Coughlan (Microdisney, Fatima Mansions), Damian O’Neill (The Undertones, That Petrol Emotion), Terry Edwards (Gallon Drunk, Near Jazz Experience) and Stephen Ryan (The Stars Of Heaven, The Revenants, The Drays).
Songwriter, producer and musician Rupert Hine dies at the age of 72 of cancer. He produced albums for artists including Rush, Kevin Ayers, Tina Turner, Howard Jones, Bob Geldof, The Thompson Twins, Stevie Nicks, Chris de Burgh, Suzanne Vega and many more. As an artist, he recorded eleven albums, mostly under his own name, but also as Thinkman, and as a member of Quantum Jump.
