Barrie Masters, lead vocalist of 70s rock band
Kim Shattuck, best known as the singer, guitarist and primary songwriter of The Muffs, dies aged 56 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She had been suffering from ALS (motor neuron disease). Shattuck was also one of alternative rock's favorite guest artists, singing on tracks by NOFX and Bowling for Soup and playing bass on tour with the reunited Pixies.
