Paul Henderson (fan) : It was a small hall, maybe 300 people. I'd been listening to Clapton but, as soon as Peter Green started playing, I was mesmerised. He was so economical, getting so much emotion out of so few notes.The sound was crap and they didn't go down too well, but what really affected me was that Green had a charisma that was almost like a physical aura around him.
