John Taylor (guitarist, Duran Duran) : Rob [music promoter Rob Hallett] played a crucial role in Duran Duran's development, introducing us first to London audiences and subsequently to Dave Ambrose at EMI, who signed the band.
We became mad playmates in later years, having a great time mixing business and pleasure all over West London and much further afield.
Rob has always had tremendous insight into the travails of the music industry, but more importantly, there is no one I know who loves music more, and cares about it, passionately. He is a believer.
