Sam Andrews (guitarist, Big Brother And The Holding Company) : I'm proud of our arrangement of Summertime which is the most original setting for that tune, and that is really saying something, since there are probably at least five hundred versions of Summertime on record.  I had a radio show some years back and played something like two hundred different artists doing Summertime, so I know what's been done with the song.
