James Brown plays the first of seven nights at The Apollo Theater, Harlem, New York City, USA. Also on the bill are Freddie King, Solomon Burke, Pigmeat Markham and The Valentinos. On the last night of this run, Brown will record a live set which will become his classic album Live At The Apollo (Vol 1).
