Venus becomes the first song to go to No1 in the Billboard Top 40 Singles Chart in the USA three times. The original version, by Dutch one-hit wonders Shocking Blue, reached the top on February 7, 1970. It returned to No1 as part of the Stars On 45 medley on June 20, 1981. On this occasion, a new version by Bananrama hits the top.
