Tune Towne Tunes register copyright on the song Happy Pay Off Day in the USA. The song will later be adapted by singer Jack Holmes and given a new name, The Blacksmith Blues. When Mildred Becker Schultz hears this song being played on television, she believes it has been plagiarised from her 1941 composition Good Old Army, and will sue Tune Towne Tunes.
