Buckingham Palace is included in a list of the most significant locations in the history of British jazz. The palace qualifies because it hosted the first jazz performance before a head of state - a show by the Original Dixieland Jazz Band during their British visit after the first world war. Also on the list are Ronnie Scott's Club, Hammersmith Palais and Club Eleven.
