Justin Bieber posts a Tweet message in which he suggests that his followers might like to watch a new MTV show, The Hard Times of R J Berger, that evening. The show immediately registers a 9% increase in viewers. A week later it is showing a 14% increase and, soon after, 31%. The show had been receiving poor ratings until Bieber's Tweet which played its part in MTV deciding to renew it for a second season.
