It is reported that a Judge for Preliminary Investigations (GIP) in Milan, Italy, Europe, has ordered the operators of pirate music websites to forfeit more than €2.4m ($3.3m) following an investigation into copyright infringement. The judge ordered the seizure and destruction of the computers used and the forfeiture €2.4m that had been previously frozen by the Office of the Public Prosecutor.
