Largely the brainchild of Little Steven Van Zandt, the artists involved include U2, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Peter Gabriel, Jimmy Cliff, Lou Reed, Simple Minds, Keith Richards and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Herbie Hancock and Gil Scott-Heron.
