The Hippodrome opens on the corner of Charing Cross and Leicester Square, London. In its early years The Hippodrome is used for staging circuses but, in 1909, it will be converted into a music hall and variety theatre. In 1958 it will be converted again into The Talk Of The Town, an upmarket nightclub.
