The New York Times reports that Broadway theatre managers in New York City, USA, have launched a campaign, led by Arthur Hammerstein, President of The Managers' Protective Association, to prevent radio stations from broadcasting music being used in current theatrical productions. Their fear is that having music freely available on the radio will lead to a drop in audiences attending live shows.
