Kris Kristofferson : When I was growing up, the big stars of country, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb - once they made it, they were there forever. It wasn’t like pop music: Here today, gone tomorrow. But when country music got so much bigger, largely through Cash, who was a bridge to Bob Dylan and Neil Young and people like that, it became more like pop music.
