The commanding officer of the 101st Airborne Support group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, USA, receives a request for discharge from the US Army of James M. Hendrix [later to find fame as Jimi Hendrix]. Reasons stated include "behavior problems, requires excessive supervision while on duty, little regard for regulations, apprehended masturbating in platoon area while supposed to be on detail."
