George Scott-Wood dies aged 75 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, Europe. He had achieved success as a jazz pianist,arranger and bandleader of the 1930's Big Band era. Often credited as Scott Wood, he played with Jay Whidden And His Band (1928-1930), and subsequently accompanied artists including Richard Tauber, Sir Harry Lauder, Beatrice Lillie, Larry Adler, Gracie Fields, Max Miller and Vic Oliver.
