David Stark : Was a brilliant day despite everyone being aware that it was one year since we lost Jimi Hendrix. Weather was perfect and the music was mostly superb, especially The Faces and The Who. And was just two months before the Who opened the Rainbow Theatre with three more top shows, it was the year of Who's Next and they were at the top of their game. Best live band of all time in my book.
