Inspired by a row Paul McCartney had had with his girlfriend Jane Asher, The Beatles record You Won't See Me in Abbey Road Studios, London, England, UK, Europe. This is the last recording session for the album Rubber Soul. The band's roadie Mal Evans plays Hammond organ on this session.

Paul McCartney : It was 100% me, as I recall, but I was always happy to give John a credit because there's always a chance that, on the night of the session, he might have said, "That'd be better" to me. It was very Motown flavoured. It's got a James Jamerson feel. He was the Motown bass player.
