Full article:

Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) : The Evs really are artistes. The first thing that strikes you about them is their professionalism - and that Don is the most talkative of the two.

We all used to bowl along to the Evs' dressing room and sort of join forces, just for kicks. Can you imagine it? The night we were all singing numbers like La Bamba and going mad with tambourines and maraccas at the same time. It really was fantastic.

Julie Grant : With Eric (Grant's manager Eric Easton) becoming the manager of The Stones, they actually opened for me first 'cause I had my record, Up On The Roof"at that time. They opened for me on a couple of shows even before "Up On The Roof", at the end of '62. Then we did a tour together. Quite a few one-offs. The big tour we did was in '63 for over a month with The Everly Brothers, Bo Diddley, Little Richard and myself. So, I did more stuff with The Stones because of having the same management.
