Florida State University student Jim Morrison is arrested on charges of drunkeness plus petty larceny of a police helmet and an umbrella in Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Six years later on March 5, 1969 Morrison will be arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behaviour, indecent exposure, profanity, and drunkenness during a performance by his band The Doors in Miami.
