Screaming Lord Sutch : I can't describe how much I hate it. It's a complete muck up of a great R'n'B thing. Horrible when you know the original. This record is absolutely diabolical. I loathe it and I hope it flops.

Allan Clarke (vocalist, The Hollies) : We do covers of American songs because we like doing them, we think they sound good, and we do them our own way. We're not comparing ourselves with The Coasters but just the same we've done two of their numbers.
