Johnny Gustafson (bassist, Big Three) : It's difficult to say who was responsible for the idea. Possibly Decca realised the material we were given to record was nothing compared to how we were live. I'm surprised they went for it, considering what sort of company they were.

We recorded an album's worth of material but Decca scrapped it except for those four songs.

During the gig, the photographer couldn't get anywhere near the stage. After we'd finished, we took off our horrible sweat-drenched suits. Since we hated them anyway we just hurled them in a corner. The photographer came in and said, 'Right lads, get your suits on. We're doing the cover now.' We had to drag on these wet suits and pretend we were playing.
