Neil Diamond : When I first started performing, we played in anything, any place that would accept us. We played in bowling alleys, ski lodges, on the back of pick-up trucks at country fairs, small nightclubs and dance halls. Then we moved over to college concerts and began to play some of the larger auditoriums in the cities.
