Frank Ifield : I wasn't disappointed when this one didn't get to No1. I'd had three No1s in a row, and I knew it couldn't go on forever like that. My producer, Norrie Paramor, chose the song for me, and I really liked it, but we never expected it to make No1. In fact, we were very pleased that it got as high as No4.

The Beatles and the Liverpool sound was really taking off at this point, and solo performers were starting to have a hard time keeping up with the groups.
