While at a beach in Kemaman, Trengganu, Malaysia, Susan Lim, lead singer of popular Singapore band The Crescendos, is swept away by strong waves in the South China Sea despite attempts by her fiancé and others to hold on to her. The body of another member of the party who dies in the accident is recovered, but Lim's body is never found.
