Dezo Hoffman (photographer) : The cover photo on the Twist And Shout EP was done when I was in Liverpool, long before the record was even thought of. I could have made them very sordid-looking because Liverpool was like that, but I never did. I never did anything of them that was sordid. I did a lot of pictures in a house, in a garden, that sort of thing. The Beatles and I clicked and, in that 'jumping' picture, I just wanted to show the boys' vitality, how they were full of life. I took about three rolls of film of the jump til I got it right.
