Pista Dankó, a bandleader and composer who worked in locally popular folk music styles in the 19th century, dies from lung disease in Szatmar, Hungary, Europe. Danko was frequently known by the nickname 'Nótafa', a Hungarian word meaning "ballad-singer of folk music".
