On their Sonic Boom Over Europe: From the Beginning to the Boom Tour, Kiss play at the O2 Academy, Islington, London, England, Europe. When arena-level confetti cannons are fired at the end of the show it unexpectedly sucks air out of the hall, causing Gene Simmons to pass out and Paul Stanley to be physically sick.

Andy Copping, Executive Producer of Touring for Live Nation UK : When we did an underplay show at the 800 capacity Islington Academy - they even managed to get the full KISS logo lighting rig in there! I thought they might get the K and the I in, but not the full lighting rig! When they finished the set, they set off with arena level confetti cannons that not only had the confetti up to our knees in the whole venue but it sucked the air out of the room. Gene Simmons passed out and Paul Stanley was physically sick - they couldn't come out for the encore! It was bonkers!
