Jazz clarinettist Jolly Jack Robel, who worked with Tommy Dorsey, dies in Pottsville Hospital, Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, USA, having been in poor health for some while. He also recorded as a solo artist for Columbia, Brunswick, Vocation and Decca Records. His biggest success was Beer Barrel Polka in 1936.
