Rod Smallwood (manager, Iron Maiden) : When Maiden sold out the stadiums in both Helsinki and Tempere in Finland, I met the promoter Thomas Johansson, for lunch in Helsinki on the day of the Tempere show. The lunch extended and extended until we managed to pour ourselves into a car to be taken on the two hour drive to Tempere but sadly we both missed the show as we fell asleep backstage! I have to say the band thought this highly amusing.
