Thomas Johansson (promoter) : I was the local promoter and Jimi and Noel of The Jimi Hendrix Experience liked a band I managed called The Outsiders, so we played a few shows for them as their opening act. I remember in the summer of 1967 we were on our way to a gig at Sandviken, about 200km north of Stockholm, and Jimi had chosen to drive up there with me in my car, and I had a puncture. I wasn’t very good at things like changing tyres so Jimi jumped out and helped me change the tyre.
