Singer Vanessa Carlton posts a petition on social media calling for the resignation of Neil Portnow, Head of The Recording Academy, which decides who should get Grammy Awards. The petition comes in the wake of an overwhelmingly male-dominated Grammy Awards event. When female artists (including Pink, Sheryl Crow, Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX and Halsey) registered their dissatisfaction, Portnow attempted to respond, but his remarks simply futher infuriated the women.
