The Plain Band is organized at Reuschlein Brothers Hall, Plain, Wisconsin, USA, with William Marshall, one of the best local clarinet players, as instructor. The accordian and mouth organ are played by Joe Schwartz, violin by John Frank, drum by John H. Liegel. The flute, trombone, clarinet and several cornets are played by the other members. The fox trot, waltz, two-step, and square dance are popular in their repertoire.
