He specifically requested John Hillman to make some kind of settlement that would not interfere with or hurt Jimi. Chas earned a great deal of respect for that, because a lot of people would have said, 'Never mind Jimi, I'm going to get what's mine.'
John Hillman (lawyer) : I had to referee that split. I tried to do what was fair financially, but there was no way I could settle it emotionally. That would never be settled and Chas remained very bitter.
