Mike Greek (CAA) : It was the Brazilian promoter Jose Muniz who promoted One Direction’s first South American stadium shows in April 2014, and managed to sell over 100,000 tickets without spending more than $10,000 on marketing, which is pretty impressive. Muniz is good under pressure and able to pivot when needed at very short notice. He also reads the local market well and tells it straight, even when it’s not the news you want to hear.
