The new Culture Club single, The War Song, is released in English in the UK with four different language versions – French, German, Spanish and Japanese - on the b-side. Although it will reach No2 in the Singles chart, it will be criticised to such an extent that Boy George will later refer to it as the song which "ruined my career".
