Stephen Holden (reviewer, New York Times) : Pop-soul music's perennial love birds, popped out of a glittering Art Deco skyscraper Saturday night at Radio City Music Hall, where they played three weekend performances. The cardboard edifice was emblematic not only of the couple's long-standing relationship with New York City but also of their latest album, High Rise, five of whose songs they performed with an eight-piece band.
Because of mediocre sound and slower-than-usual pacing, the show lacked the effervescence of other Ashford and Simpson appearances in recent years.
