Peter Grant (audience) : I was at the back, but the minute they kicked off we all pushed up the front. Paul Stanley threw his towel out and it landed next to me, so we tore it apart and I got a bit. I also collected confetti from the rockets Ace Frehley was firing off.

When Eric Carr did his drum solo, the riser zoomed towards the front of the stage and rockets shot out from the side. We were all chanting, ‘Blood! Blood! Blood!’ when Gene Simmons flew up onto the stacks and spat blood over us. Wonderful!
