Eddie Kramer (engineer) : And The Gods Made Love had loads of tape delay. Jimi's voice was slowed way down below three and three-quarters i.p.s. then sped up again. We had tape loops running and echo tape feeding back on itself. I was panning one set with my right hand, because there was a limit to how much you could grab with one hand. I rode the main levels on the console, controlling the main feeds, with my left hand. Jimi would be using two hands to pan other stuff. It was a four-handed mix that we edited together.
