Full article:

When did you last hear an album which used a glass house as a musical instrument? I’m guessing never, so here’s your chance. Back in 2016, German experimental composer Alva Noto and former Yellow Magic Orchestra member / soundtrack composer Sakamoto undertook a live performance in a glass house built by architect Philip Johnson in Connecticut, wiring up the walls with contact mics and dragging various artefacts over them to create sympathetic vibrations that were picked up as hauntingly lovely harmonics and spacey drones. The results, including a section recorded during a rainstorm, are ethereally beautiful, and will delight anybody who loves ambient music.
