Sonja Carigiet (fan) : I was fourteen years old at the time. I was so much looking forward to seeing my favourite guitarist live for the first time. The concert started late and when, eventually, Hendrix came on, he was totally in his own space and incoherent. I remember feeling very let down and disappointed. I went there with the image of Hendrix, but I walked out with Eric Burdon's songs echoing in my head.
