Frank Zappa : The song was a hit from the minute it went on the radio. They played it on (Los Angeles radio station) KROQ and the phones exploded. They had an acetate, it wasn’t even released.

The worst thing about that record is that nobody really listened to it. They listened to the slang but didn’t listen to what the song was saying – that these people are really airheads.
