Fact #162107

When:

Short story:

Latoya Jackson plays a gig at Chernobyl, Ukraine, site of Russia's horrific nuclear accident.

Full article:

On this date, a promoter by the name of Falcon Stuart flew out to Slavutich City in the Ukraine with LaToya plus her dancing boys, Renaldo and Antonio, to play a 'command performance' for the workers, their children and the directors of the nearby Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station. LaToya was protected by ten fully armed security guards and she mimed her way beautifully through all her, er, massive international hits. The following day she did another gig in the Ukrainian Hall, Kiev, for a crowd described as the city’s “new economic mafia”. This one featured gymnasts, a ballet troupe, a fifty strong all-girl marching band and the equally all-girl LaToya prancing about in sundry lust-provoking skimpy semi-military and bondage-style outfits rarely seen outside of KGB HQ in Moscow.
