Full article:

Charles Shaw : I sang the whole rap, from the beginning to the ending. That’s what made the record a hit - my voice and the guys’ looks. There are three lead voices on the album. Two other guys besides me are singing on the record, Johnny Davis and Brad Howell.

Frank Farian (producer) : During the album recordings, there was a funny situation in the studio. We were listening to the record and Rob started to claim that he expected his voice to be louder. As we all know by now, he never sang one tune.
