Johnny Black (diary entry) : Went to Friar's, Aylesbury this week to see The Clash for the third time. They played a few new songs, called, I think, Safe European Home, Cheapskates and Drug Stabbing Time, and they were better than I've ever seen them, but I'm still not converted. Even a brief burst of Blitzkrieg Bop served only to remind me of how much better The Ramones are.
