John Zajonc (production manager, Metallica) : We’ve been fortunate on this tour with the weather, because we’ve played a lot of outdoor shows, but the weather mostly held off. Denver was the only place where we had to evacuate the stadium in the middle of the show because of a lightning storm. Then we had to fill the stadium again, and the band wanted to play longer but we ran into curfew problems, so that made things a little tricky.
