Despite their gloriously latin-sounding name, Dorita Y Pepe, were, somewhat disappointingly both British from South London, and their real names were Dorothy and Peter. They dressed in ponchos, both played acoustic guitars, and looked very Spanish. Dorita sang powerful renditions of Spanish songs, while Pepe stood there playing guitar and looking suitably inscrutable.
