The enduring popular song Happy Birthday To You is first published in a songbook edited by Robert H. Coleman. It is based on Good Morning To You, a song written in 1893 by sister Mildred J. Hill and Patty Smith Hill. Said to be the most widely recorgnised song in the English language, it was still producing annual royalties of over $2m in 2008.
