Stuart Galbraith (promoter, Kilimanjaro) : I’ve been involved with the Chilis since the 80s but perhaps the most memorable gigs were the three nights we did in Hyde Park, summer of 2004, which sold over 255,000 tickets which was fantastic.
The Hyde Park shows were literally a moment in time. We put the first show on sale, and it sold out in an hour, so we added a second one which sold out the same day, so a week or so later we added the third night. It was unprecedented at that time.
